On Sunday (30)  a 55-year-old woman from Chicago was knocked to the ground near the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, as she was attempting to cross the West Bay Road.

Although the woman was taken to the George Town Hospital, according to police, she did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service are urging pedestrians to use designated crosswalks.

Both the woman and the male driver tested negative in breathalyzer tests.
