US: Scaramucci: ‘I will take dramatic action to stop those leaks’

By Eric Mack From Newsmax

Anthony Scaramucci, the new White House communications director, vowed Sunday to take “dramatic action” top stop leaks within his department.

“I will take dramatic action to stop those leaks,” Scaramucci told “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace.

“If the leaks don’t stop, I’m going to pare down the staff, because it’s just not right. I think it’s not fair to the president; it’s actually not fair to America or the people in the government.

“I’m not going to be able to stop the leaks in the intergovernmental agencies and all that other stuff — that’s a whole different ball of wax — but something is going on in the White House that the president does not like, and we’re going to fix it.”

Scaramucci, who was himself involved in a controversy of a CNN report, was appointed Friday by President Donald Trump, leading former White House press secretary Sean Spicer to resign. Scaramucci’s department might undergo more turnover.

“Everyone can stay if they follow protocol against the leaks,” he added.
