Update: Cayman: Wanted man, Henry York Carter, located

Yesterday, 25 February, officers located and arrested wanted man Henry York Carter at a location in George Town.

He has since been transported to Her Majesty Prison, Northward.

Initial Release (25 February)

The RCIPS is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 41-year-old Henry York Carter who was last known to be living in Bodden Town. Mr. Carter is wanted by the police for breaking the terms of his conditional release from Her Majesty’s Prison Northward and must now be returned to continue his custodial sentences.

Otis Melbourne Myles, age 34, of George Town, who was also wanted for breaching his conditional release, was located today, 25 February, and has been transported to Her Majesties Prison, Northward. 

The public is again being reminded that according to the Police Law (2017 Revision), to obstruct, mislead or act in such a way as to prevent the apprehension of a person who has committed an offence.  If prosecuted for such an offence, you may be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000 or imprisonment for two years or both.

The police are encouraging anyone with information about the whereabouts of these individuals to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. Additionally, the men themselves are also encouraged to turn themselves into the Cayman Islands Detention Centre, or the nearest active police station, at any time, day or night.
