Traffic diversion by Hurley’s Grand Harbour – FIXED road open

UPDATE:  The Water Authority staff have fixed the broken water main, and the Road is now open.

From RCIPS Wed, May 21, 2014 at 8:30 AM

There is a burst water main in the area of Hurley’s Grand Harbor just past the roundabout on Shamrock Road.  Traffic travelling East is currently being diverted through Hurley’s car park in order to allow Water Authority staff to repair the broken main.  Persons travelling to and from George Town in that area are asked to drive with caution as water is flowing across both sections of the road. Road cones have been placed to assist in the diversion of traffic; a police officer is presently on scene.
