Taste of Cayman Food and Drink Festival postponed due to forecasted severe weather

The Taste of Cayman Food & Drink Festival 2019, due to be held this Saturday, January 26th, 2019 has been postponed until Saturday April 6th, 2019.

The festival has been postponed due to a severe weather forecast, including a high likelihood of heavy rain and high winds, both this week and on the day of the event.

The forecasted weather will not only affect the set-up of the event, including the safety of the crew, but also the safety of attendees on the day of the event. The safety of attendees, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and staff is paramount, hence that the decision to postpone was taken.

The event has a new date of Saturday, April 6th 2019 and will still take place at the Festival Green, Camana Bay.

“The event will still take place in its full glory with the same exciting features and same headline act of Simply Queen, which we are very much looking forward to,” Ms. Julie Allan, Chair of the Taste of Cayman Committee and member of the CITA Executive Committee said.

Taste of Cayman admission tickets and food and drink tickets which have already been purchased will be valid for the new event date of Saturday, April 6th.

If ticket holders are no longer able to attend the new event date, a refund will be issued for a period of two weeks from Tuesday 22nd January until Tuesday 4th February, 2019.

For refunds, if tickets were purchased in-store, ticket holders should email [email protected] for further instructions. If tickets were purchased online, a refund is also available by emailing [email protected].
