Sunsail is delighted to announce a number of premium additions to enhance its world-class fleet. From December 2014, Sunsail’s Caribbean-based charter fleet will offer customers a choice of three exciting new monohulls, promising the perfect blend of performance and comfort.

The Sunsail 51, Sunsail 47 and Sunsail 41 will form part of Sunsail’s Premier Plus offering for the first 12 months of operation. In total, 12 new yachts will be available across the British Virgin Islands, St Martin and St Lucia bases.

All three models are derived from top boat builder Jeanneau’s popular Sun Odyssey range, chosen by Sunsail for its high build quality, reliability and design flare.

Peter Cochran, Sunsail’s VP of Operations, comments: “Sunsail has partnered with Jeanneau for many years and the new Sunsail 41, 47 and 51 will be built by our friends in France. Jeanneau is our choice for monohulls because we know how well they suit our charter customers from around the globe and how they deal with the sailing conditions of the bases we operate in. For the enthusiastic sailor, these monos can really shift too!”

41The spacious Sunsail 51 – the largest yacht offered of any in Sunsail’s 1000-strong worldwide fleet – is undoubtedly the star of the show. Experienced sailors delight at the ease of handling and glistening performance that’s at its best in the Caribbean’s steady winds. Topping Sunsail’s Premier Plus line up, the Sunsail 51 sports eye-catching lines above decks that are paralleled by the sumptuous interior below decks. With four comfortable double-berth cabins, each with its own heads, this luxurious model boasts a generous open-plan saloon and well-equipped galley, ample on-deck relaxation areas, plus all the convenience of its own generator and air conditioning as standard.

47Also from the drawing board of Jeanneau’s Philipe Briande, the stylish Sunsail 47 offers three double cabins, all en-suite, and delivers all the elegance and performance of her bigger sister. Emphasis is again on ease of handling. Sail controls are all readily accessible from the helm – simplifying the skipper’s job and maximising fun and relaxation whilst underway.

The sleek-looking Sunsail 41 completes the line up – an evolution of the Jeanneau 39i, a very popular boat that has been a favourite within the Sunsail fleet for some time. Twin wheels and a generous sail plan make this yacht a dream to handle, and with a light, voluminous interior comprising three cabins, two heads and roomy saloon/galley area, not to mention the generous swim platform and clean deck layout, the Sunsail 41 makes an ideal monohull for families.

All three models will be in operation by the end of 2014, giving Sunsail customers the choice of exploring the Caribbean in premium style and comfort this winter.
