Schedule announced for 2023 Caribbean Cup Final between Cavalier FC and SV Robinhood

  • Cavalier FC to host the decisive return leg final on December 6 at the National Stadium, in Kingston, Jamaica
  • Winner will be crowned Caribbean Champion and receive a bye to the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16
  • Harbour View FC and Moca FC have progressed to a Third Place Series

Miami, FL (Friday, November 3, 2023) – Concacaf has confirmed the schedule for the Final of the 2023 Concacaf Caribbean Cup. The two-legged Final between Cavalier FC (JAM) and SV Robinhood (SUR) is scheduled for November 30 (first leg) and December 6 (second leg) in Suriname and Jamaica, respectively.

Cavalier have qualified for the Final after overcoming fellow Jamaican club Harbour View 5-0 on aggregate in the semifinals. Cavalier started the tournament in Group A and finished with a 3W-1D-0L record to capture a first-place finish.

Robinhood defeated Dominican Republic side Moca in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 aggregate draw in the semifinals. The five-time Concacaf Champions Cup finalists captured a first-place finish in Group B with a 3W-0D-1L record to advance to the semifinals. 

The competition’s two losing semifinalists, Harbour View FC (JAM) and Moca FC (DOM), have progressed to a Third Place Series, where they will face off to determine the third Caribbean club participating in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup. These matches are scheduled for November 28 (first leg) and December 5 (second leg) in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, respectively.

Fans will be able to enjoy these matches through the Confederation’s TV partner networks, including FOX Sports | Tubi (USA-English), TUDN | ViX (USA-Spanish), Fox Sports Mexico (Mexico-Spanish), ESPN | Star+ (Central America, Caribbean, and South America), and the Concacaf Official Platforms for all other territories (subject to territory restrictions).

Thursday, November 30, 2023 – First Leg Final
6:00 pm (8:00 pm) SV Robinhood vs Cavalier FC – Franklin Essed Stadion, Paramaribo, Suriname 

Tuesday, December 5, 2023 – Second Leg Third Place
6:00 pm (7:00 pm) Moca FC vs Harbour View FC – Estadio Cibao FC, Santiago, Dominican Republic

Wednesday, December 6, 2023 – Second Leg Final
7:00 pm (7:00 pm) Cavalier FC vs SV Robinhood – National Stadium, Kingston, Jamaica

To determine the second-leg hosts, Concacaf has ranked the clubs based on the total number of points they have accumulated in the competition, with the highest-ranked clubs hosting the all-decisive second-leg matches. After the semifinal results, the rankings are as follows (also available here):

1. Cavalier FC (14 pts, +12 gd)
2. SV Robinhood (12 pts, +4 gd)
3. Moca FC (12 pts, +3 gd)
4. Harbour View FC (8 pts, -4 gd)

The winner of this exciting competition will be crowned as the Caribbean Cup’s first-ever champion and will secure a berth in the 2024 Champions Cup Round of 16. The runner-up and winner of the third-place series will also qualify for next year’s Champions Cup and begin play in Round One.
