Rotaract Conference on Grand Cayman

Rotaract Club of Eleuthera feeling inspired after members attended 2016 Rotaract District 7020 Conference in Grand Cayman.

Grand Cayman – Representatives from the Rotaract Club of Eleuthera attended the 2016 Rotaract District 7020 Conference in Grand Cayman during the beginning of June. Over one hundred (100) Rotaractors from eleven countries were present for the five day conference of fellowship and learning. The Club’s Vice President and President Elect Shapreka Clarke and Incoming Secretary Ashley Hall were in attendance.

Conference events were designed to advance the Rotaract’s objective of, “fellowship through service,” through thought provoking discussions, inspirational addresses, development and training workshops, and collaborative project planning.

Screen Shot 2016-07-09 at 8.08.54 AMDuring the conference Rotaract Club of Eleuthera was awarded Platinum level recognition for the District Rotaract Representative Award of Excellence (The highest recognition there is), the Zone 34 Rotaract Award, Great Performance in Quarter 1and a Presidential Citation.

Incoming President Shapreka noted that the conference was an experience of a life time. “Conference was a great experience that I will never forget. I was able to meet and network with young professionals from all over the Caribbean who are dedicated to service and making our community a better place.”

“Thank you to the Rotary Club of Eleuthera and all those who supported this trip and effects of the Rotaract Club of Eleuthera”, said Rotaractors.
