Public Health has released COVID-19 figures for 1 April. 142 NEW Positives from 29 -31 March

Public Health has released COVID-19 figures for 1 April.

Unfortunately, another elderly patient has died, bringing the COVID-19 death toll to 26 in the Cayman Islands. This will be reflected in the next COVID-19 Situational Report for Epi. Week 13.

Positive cases reported to Public Health during this period are currently as follows:

30/03/22              41

31/03/22                52

There are 556 estimated active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands. Four patients are currently hospitalised for COVID related causes and of these, three are unvaccinated.

The 7-day rolling average for 1 April is 40.

The Sister Islands also noted one new case since their last report, bringing total cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 657.
