#PRAYCAYMAN

A call to prayer & fasting commences Thu (30)

Thank you for joining us for #PrayCayman! Every 30 minutes, a prayer leader will log on and lead us through our prayer points. We encourage you to pray along with us during this time. For more info, check out praycayman.com

We are calling for the community to come together for a national time of prayer & fasting. The campaign, #PRAYCAYMAN, has already garnered support from several congregations, as well as Caymanian artists Grace Byers and Frank E Flowers.

“While many of us are staying safe at home, we often feel powerless and overwhelmed. I love the idea of everyone coming together, regardless of their individual beliefs or religious differences, to show solidarity and love for the future of our beloved island.” – FEF

#PRAYCAYMAN, is a unifying call to action for all denominations and people from every facet of the community. The purpose of fasting with prayer is to set aside daily routines and comforts to put greater focus on spiritual duty. We will pray for protection of frontline workers, the rebuilding of our economy to comfort those suffering financial hardships and for God to grant continued wisdom to our leaders as we cooperate with our Government to achieve the goal of not losing any Cayman people to COVID-19.
