Phase Four Information now on CIG’s Official COVID-19 Site

Grand Cayman, 05 November 2021 – The official website for COVID-19 communications – — has been updated today, Friday 5 November 2021, to reflect information regarding Phase Four of the Cayman Islands Reopening Plan, which is set to begin on 20 November.

Some updates include:

·       travel procedures for minors coming from countries where they may only receive one dose of the vaccine;

·       traveller categories on which persons may travel to the Cayman Islands unvaccinated;

·       an outline of Travel Cayman’s processes that will apply in Phase Four;

·       an advisory note that Travel Cayman portal will reflect Phase Four amendments beginning Monday, 8 November 2021, after 9PM local time.

Premier the Hon. Wayne Panton stated, “The government has continued to put in to action the policies and regulations that will create a smooth transition into phase four of the reopening plan.  I strongly encourage the public to utilize the website as the official source of information, resources and guidance as we make this transition.”
