What a wonderful day for the under 12’s of Cayman, the Children’s Fun Fair Day held this year at Pedro St James is truly a community event, everything is free to the children, with Food and drink sponsored by Progressive, Fosters, CEL, goody bags donated by Cayman 27, Sno Cones were provided by the Leos, and 7cd4958b-9019-407f-912b-e3b74701f9c8candies provided by Its Sugar and Cayman Taffy. There was a chance to win one of five bicycles donated by First Caribbean and Kirk Home Centre and so much more.

Judges:  all the costume and Beautiful Baby competitions were judged by Darvin Ebanks, Eileen Wagner (Texas Pirate) Ben (Blackbeard) Cherry and first Mate Dee Gee and Miss Teen Tishay Heath.   Prizes were presented by Executive Festival Director Melanie McField.

The overall winner was Emily Brunneman who won in a time of 1:03:46

PIRATES WEEK 10K

All systems are go for the Pirates Week 10K Run, which will take place on Sunday,17 November at 7:00 a.m.

Much of the course will follow the route of previous years.

Due to road changes, the start will be on the Esterley Tibbetts highway, near Consolidated Water. The turnaround will be at the Devil’s Hangout, and the finish will be at Surfside Beach

Breakfast will be served to all participants and awards will be distributed at Surfside.

Performance awards will be presented to the first three male and female finishers overall and the first male and female finishers in age groups u20,

20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60+.

A large number of random and theme-related prizes will also be distributed.

Registration fee is CI$25.Registration will be conducted from noon-5:00 pm on Saturday,16 November, at Surfside Beach.Event shirts will be distributed at this time.
