Leading offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes has maintained its position with top tier rankings in both categories of ‘Financial and Corporate’ and ‘Investment Funds’ in Guernsey and Jersey in the latest publication of the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) 1000 rankings.

Mourant Ozannes is the only law firm in Jersey and Guernsey to have been awarded a top tier ranking in all categories in the directory, in both Islands for the last three years.

IFLR noted, ‘Mourant Ozannes is one of the largest firms in the Channel Islands and has the quality to back up its numbers.’

Mourant Ozannes’ BVI office has entered the Latin American rankings within the first year of the office opening and the firm’s Cayman Islands practices maintained their rankings in the guide and were singled out for expanding the corporate team with top hires. Mourant Ozannes’ Hong Kong office, opened in 2012, has secured a tier 2 ranking for ‘Financial and Corporate’ alongside firms that have been present in Asia for over 20 years.

The IFLR rankings are compiled by dedicated specialist legal journalists based in the key centres of London, New York and Hong Kong and the IFLR directory is the only publication of its kind to focus on the leading law firms for Corporate & Finance and Investment Funds practices worldwide.
