Today Friday 14th November 2014 the RCIPS formally charged 37 year old Tamara Butler with the murder of 6 year old Bethany Gabriel Butler.

Bethany was found in a vehicle off the Queens Highway in the early hours of Monday 27th October. Her mother Tamara Butler who was located near the scene was later arrested at the George Town Hospital and since been under police guard, detained under the mental health law.

She will appear in court today.
