Mernet Larsen likes to put things in (weird) perspective in his paintings

From Designer Daily

In Mernet Larsen’s world, being two feet away from another person can result in one person being gigantic, and the other tiny. Hell, even sitting at the same table can make you look like miles away.

The artist, who lives and work in both New York and Tempa, Florida, has been painting for over thirty years and his world is still as strange as it was in the beginning. He investigates in perspective, distorting reality to a point that becomes almost comical.
