Each year, Prospect Primary School invites representatives from a variety of local professions to host a booth at their Career Day for students. The day allows students in years 4-6 to have a glimpse into the working world, helping to outline some of the career options available to them as they begin to form their aspirations for the future.

With a wide variety of professions on display, from mechanics and doctors to police officers and teachers, Maples and Calder has attended the annual event over the last five years to educate the youngsters about careers in the legal industry.

“Maples and Calder is pleased to have partnered with Prospect Primary School for this exciting event again this year. Illustrating the vast career opportunities available to the youth in our community cannot begin early enough,” said associate, Brett Basdeo, who has been spearheading the firm’s involvement in the Career Day over the years.

“It is such a delight when the children recognise returning volunteers from the firm. We look forward to seeing them all again next year and maybe even joining the legal industry in the future!”
