Maples and Calder announces more promotions

Following on from the recent announcement of the firm’s Partner elections, Maples and Calder has additionally confirmed several support staff promotions, including Nanalie Cover and Danielle Look Loy, both of whom are based in the Cayman Islands office.

Ms. Cover commenced her career at Maples and Calder in December 2008 in the capacity of Compliance Officer then progressed to Head of Risk and Internal Audit.  Her promotion to Regional Head of Compliance in 2012 puts her in charge of regulatory and legal compliance for Maples and Calder’s practise throughout the region.

Ms. Look Loy’s new role as Financial Controller gives her responsibility for leadership of the Accounts Department in the Cayman Islands office and providing key financial reporting to management. She joined Maples and Calder in July 2009 as a Finance Manager.

Of her progression, Ms. Look Loy said, “It is an honour to be acknowledged for my contributions to the Accounts Department since I joined Maples and Calder. The firm continues to consider the best people for each role and I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead my team.”
