The police say charges are pending against a man arrested early this morning in Baldwin Crescent, Duhaney Park, Kingston 20 for breaches of the Sexual Offences Act and the Firearms Act.

They say about 2:00 a.m., a team went to premises in search of the man as part of a probe into a case of having sex with a person under the age of 16 years.

The police say the man was arrested and during a search of the premises a Tarsus 9mm pistol with two magazines and 26 rounds of ammunition were seized.

His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
