Taking place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates, UAE) this year, COP28 will be a pivotal moment for island nations. For 2 weeks starting on November 30th, the global conference will allow island communities to continue to relentlessly seek solidarity and cooperation from larger nations, secure climate finance for adaptation and resilience efforts, and highlight the moral imperative of supporting those who are least responsible for climate change but suffer its harshest consequences.

Sharing COP28 news with you!
As the outcomes of COP28 can significantly influence the future of island nations, we will be hosting the Island Voices @ COP28, a physical and virtual platform to share key insights and to connect Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Sub-National Island Jurisdictions (SNIJs) with the world. Our platform will focus on 3 key areas:
1 – COP28 Daily Bulletin
Not to be missed: COP28 talking points, video interviews, live webinars and major happenings will be summarised in a Daily Bulletin during the conference. A calendar of all island events at COP28 will be shared to make sure the relevant stakeholders can attend and meet each other.
The Daily Bulletin will therefore be a major asset for those participating to COP in-person and for those following news virtually worldwide!
