Montego Bay – February 8, 2017 – Island Routes Caribbean Adventures is making big strides at the start of the New Year with the announcement that it plans to expand its owned and operated portfolio with more industry-leading vessels, vehicles and tours throughout 2017.

The company which is well known for setting the industry standard through its service, technology and the quality of its product offering will introduce two brand new custom-built luxury catamarans, a number of BMW 5 Series as part of its luxury transfer service and a fleet of brand-new MINI Coopers before the end of 2017. The MINI’s will be used for the company’s newest tour series, MINI-Routes. The tour which is being pegged as a ‘new way to experience Jamaica’, will be available for sale from March 1st. It will be the first of its kind in Jamaica.

MINI-Routes will see guests driving brand new island-inspired MINI Coopers to various culinary, historical and adventure locations across Jamaica, all escorted by an expert island guide. The starting routes will take visitors from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios, and from Montego Bay to Negril. The company has also confirmed that it will be creating a whole series of Revolving Routes that crisscross Jamaica, ensuring that whether you’re a seasoned islander, or

it’s your first time to Jamaica, there will be a new path to discover. The tour series is truly immersive and is a fantastic way for visitors to experience the island like never before. Guests will stop at some of Jamaica’s most famous landmarks and iconic natural sites, as well as award-winning local eateries. The fleet of MINI’s will feature a range of models ensuring there is something to suit every group; this will include convertibles for the sun-lovers, 2-door models for couples and 4-door vehicles for families.

“I’ve had the distinct privilege of living the “island life”, and it’s something I truly value, so it’s very satisfying for my team and I to be able to share our island and home region with the world,” commented Adam Stewart, Chief Executive Officer, Island Routes. “Whilst everyone knows that millennial’s are big on experience, we haven’t forgotten about the boomers, so we’re constantly looking for ways to engage all-ages and offer experiences that everyone will love and want to shout about. I’m confident that in 2017 we will continue to deliver on the experience and continue to out-perform in our segment through our superior technology, our exceptional team and the quality of our product offering.”

On the Ocho Rios Route guests can expect to drive through important towns, visit local food spots for some real Jamaican cuisine, see beautiful waterfalls and get to grips with some the island’s incredible history. On the Negril Route guests will make their way through quaint fishing villages, visit a road-side coconut vendor, spend time on the legendary Seven Mile Beach, get involved in a Jamaican jerk demonstration and discover just how Negril came to be known as the ‘Capital of Casual’! From cliff-side to seaside, guests will leave Jamaica with a new appreciation of island life. Prices start from $225 USD per person, based on two people sharing one vehicle.
