IPBC Monthly – April 2020

The IPBC team would like to thank our many friends and colleagues across the IP community during these exceptionally challenging times. The support and understanding we have received while adapting to recent developments have been truly overwhelming.

The health and safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority and, to that end, we have been working in close consultation with clients, partners and the IPBC Global Advisory Board to ensure that the rescheduling of this year’s IPBC series reflects both the immediate challenges posed by the covid-19 pandemic and optimises the contribution we can make to the market’s post-crisis recovery.

I’m pleased to announce that we have now confirmed new dates for all forthcoming IPBC conferences in 2020 and the schedule can be found below. If you are registered to attend any of the events, then your booking has been transferred to the new dates and no further action is required. If not, registrations for our new dates is now open, subject to sector quotas.

I am also delighted to say that we are launching a programme of free-to-attend webinars entitled IPBC Talking Heads. Across a five-part series IP industry leaders will explore some of the critical challenges they and the market face at this unprecedented time, as well as what it all means for the future. They will cover:

Beyond portfolio optimisation: calculating the value of rightsizing
Marketing and selling patents in the current environment
How in-house IP leaders are managing during the covid-19 pandemic
Identifying the new normal: what past downturns tell us about how the IP future will evolve
Key findings from the IAM Benchmarking Survey 2020

The continuing IPBC ethos is to maintain the highest standard of delivery and content in order to ensure a unique learning and networking experience that builds on the series’ legacy year-on-year while surpassing delegate and sponsor ROI expectations. We remain absolutely committed to this.

Best wishes from the team and we look forward to seeing you later this year!
