Immigration Supports a Good Cause

Staff of the Department of Immigration gave monetary contributions and dressed in purple on Friday, 21 September, as a show of support for the local Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association (ADA).

ADA Founder/Chairperson Dorothy Davis thanked the immigration staff for their generosity, and noted that the funds will go towards educational workshops for the benefit of caregivers of people with dementia.

In the photograph, (L-R), Ms Davis accepts the contributions from Chief Immigration Officer Linda Evans and Senior Assistant Chief Immigration Officer Dolcy Powery, on behalf of the staff.

“It is gratifying to contribute to this worthy cause. When called to do so, my staff are always willing to support where there is a need,” said Ms Evans.
