How to make and break a pinata cake

Social media is flooded with new trends every second day be it intelligent forums or crazy videos. In these fast times of viral and trend, we too have a winning candidate fighting the race. Have you heard of pinata cakes before? If not, you definitely heard about it in the past week. It is a crazy new recipe and the most fun way of cake cutting ever. Celebrities have already switched to this better, nicer, more delicious, presentable and trending cake. And once we are done telling you about it you too will be compelled to order cake delivery in Mumbai or wherever you reside. Online bakeries have been quick to enter the trend and rule. The basic cakes have for now been kept aside. The speciality of a pinata cake is that it can be of any flavour and is made with super ease. Let’s begin to know just how a pinata cake is accomplished.

  1. Make a cake

The first thing to do is make a cake. And it is not the usual cake, it is the one with loads of gems, chocolate balls, Ferrero rocher chocolates and whatnot. Make it following the usual procedure of baking a cake.

  1. Buy ingredients and equipment

To make a pinata cake you have to do a one-time mini investment. You need a mould, some chocolate and food colouring if needed to make the upper cost.

  1. Make the crust

It is fairly easy and fun too. In the mould, add the chocolate. Remember it is not the ordinary chocolate you buy. You can buy it asking for chocolates for pinata cake.

  1. Freeze it

Pour the chocolate on the mould. It is a tomb or pyramid-like structure. The frozen chocolate mould is strong yet very thin. You can freeze it in your regular fridge. Don’t hurry it unless it’s completely hard and frozen.

  1. Plate the cake

On a serving plate, the real value with all the chocolates and toppings is to be decorated. The size has to be such that it fits inside the shape of the crust. Otherwise, the purpose won’t be solved.

  1. Cover the cake with moulded crust

After you are done decorating your cake, put over it, the crust. Remember to leave some space between the cake and the crust so that when one hammers it, it is sure to break.

  1. Hammer it

Special wooden hammers for pinata cakes have to be bought. With it once the candle is blown you begin beating the cake just like you used to begin cutting it. It may take a minute for you to get through it completely. Make sure the ingredients are not crushed.

  1. Serve

Make sure that you give a part of both chocolate crust and inner goodness to everyone. And while congratulating each other with a bite of cake you can go for either the crust or the cake.

Note:

Do not try to pull a stunt by adding candles on the crust because the chocolate will melt in no time and there would be nothing to hammer. You may place the candle in a side bowl or a scented candle jar.

Do not take the cake out from the fridge any second before the cake is to be cut because once it melts there’s nothing fun about it anymore.

Well, we hope you have a great time with your loved ones cutting or breaking this new pinata cake, you are going to love it. You can change the flavour of the cake by changing the chocolate in the mould and using complementary fillings and toppings.
