UPDATE: Thu, Oct 8, 2015 at 3:22 PM

The RCIPS along with Department of Environmental Health (DEH) and the CI Fire Service collected samples of the white powdery substance which was deposited. The Labs at the GTH and DEH ran preliminary tests which indicated that the substance was not hazardous but is likely some sort of powdery confectioner sugar with corn or glucose syrup base.

The individuals in the photograph has still not been located, however the RCIPS has received information that the persons may have been members of the International running/jogging club Hash House Harriers; and marking their route with flour or chalk is a common practice.

We are still seeking to resolve this matter.
