Morritt’s Resort – a 184-unit property offering “home away from home” vacations – will open The Londoner, a 20-unit luxury section of the property, as the company celebrates its Silver Anniversary this month.

Vacationers can book The Londoner’s Grand Opening promotion which offers a two-bedroom suite for $250 per night (accommodates up to six people), a townhouse for $275 per night (accommodates up to six people) and a three-bedroom penthouse for $350 per night (accommodates up to eight people).

Rates are valid on reservations made for travel through October 30, 2014. Travel agents booking The Londoner’s Grand Opening rates will receive a 10% commission.

David Morritt, developer and president of Morritt’s Properties Ltd., has worked over the last 25 years to develop his vision of a resort that recreates a home-like environment in a tropical vacation atmosphere.

Morritt lives on property and notes, “The Londoner has all the ingredients that will help provide a truly luxurious experience in the Cayman Islands and I am very proud of what we have built. My staff and I look forward to welcoming first-time visitors to the Cayman Islands and those who keep coming back because they have fallen in love with the island and everything Morritt’s Resort has to offer.”

Accommodations at The Londoner feature extra-large private balconies overlooking the beach, ocean views, spacious interiors, fully-appointed kitchens, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

Travelers can enjoy unique Caribbean cuisine at the resort’s restaurants, David’s Deep Blue Restaurant & Bar and Mimi’s Dock Bar & Restaurant, including daily happy hour specials and festive themed nights.

Among the many on-site leisure activities available to guests are Tortuga Divers and Red Sail Sports, providing jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, wind surfing, banana boat rides, scuba diving, full- and half-day snorkeling trips and boat excursions. Those looking for the ultimate in relaxation can experience the soothing, natural benefits of “the sea” as they are pampered in paradise at La Mer Spa.

Camp David, the resort’s kids activities program, offers fun and excitement for younger guests including sandcastle building, scavenger hunts, cave explorations, beach Olympics, arts and crafts, nature walks and more.
