Eagerly awaited by the Government and country, Governor Designate Jane Owen arrived in Grand Cayman today, Friday 21 April with a full schedule ahead.

The Governor Designate arrived earlier this morning at the Owen Roberts International Airport, where she was introduced to Deputy Governor Hon. Franz Manderson – who has been Acting Governor since the departure of the former Governor, Martyn Roper, in March 2023. Upon her arrival, the Governor Designate proceeded to the dais, where she received a General Salute from the Guard of Honour as a general greeting and mark of respect.
