George Town massacred by Caledonia in CFU final round

Trinidad and Tobago FA Trophy champions Caledonia AIA won 5-0 over Cayman Islands club George Town SC on Wednesday night and have secured a qualifying spot in the final round of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Champions Cup, where they will join T&T Pro League champions W Connection and Antigua Barraccudas.

Strikers Devon Jorsling (47th, 70th) and Trevin Caesar (72nd, 76th) both scored a pair of goals, while veteran Conrad Smith also netted in the 80th minute as Caledonia outclassed the local club at Annett Field in Grand Cayman.

Caledonia now lead the group with four points after drawing the opening match of the second-round Group Four series goalless with Puerto Rico Islanders.

The series ends when Puerto Rico Islanders face George Town in the final match.

Puerto Rico Islanders are highly favoured to win and become the final of the four qualifiers for the last round of the Caribbean Club Champions Cup.
