Full television schedule announced for CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal matchups

MIAMI (Thursday, March 6, 2014) – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) released today the broadcast schedule for the 2013-14 CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, with widespread TV coverage to include all eight quarterfinal matches.

Highlights include a full slate of programming on the FOX Sports and Univision families of networks, allowing millions of viewers in the Confederation’s largest TV markets to enjoy the first phase of the championship round of the region’s most important club competition.

Each of the upcoming quarterfinal matches – to be played over two legs in home-and-away format from 10-20 March – will be shown in the United States, Mexico and Canada, as well as throughout Central America and parts of the Caribbean. The programming includes three quarterfinal matchups between Liga MX and Major League Soccer sides, as well as an all-Central America showdown.

Fans in the US will see all the quarterfinal games on either Fox Sports 2 or Fox Soccer Plus in English, while viewers in the US who prefer their Champions League action in Spanish will enjoy coverage on the Univision Deportes Network (UDN) and Galavision.  In Mexico and parts of Central America and the Caribbean, matches will be shown on Fox Sports and Fox Sports 2.

In addition to programming elsewhere, the two games involving the Central American clubs will be broadcast live in Panama on TV Max and MedCom, and can be seen in Costa Rica on Repretel. Viewers in Canada can tune into all eight matches on SportsNet World.

Fans can also listen to radio broadcasts of several of the quarterfinal games on the ESPN Deportes Radio network, in all the countries reached by the network Confederation-wide. ESPN’s international radio coverage will feature five matches during this two-week quarterfinal stage.
