Four Cayman lawyers at Mourant Ozannes have been recognised in the Who’s Who Legal: Private Funds 2018 guide, a comprehensive guide of the leading professionals across the globe who specialise in private funds work. Nine Mourant Ozannes lawyers in the Channel Islands were also recognised.

The Cayman based lawyers recognised in the guide were partners Alex Last, Hayden Isbister and Neal Lomax. London Managing Partner and head of the firm’s Cayman Islands practice in Europe, Robert Duggan, was also recognised for his funds expertise.

Alex Last was also named as ‘a specialist in delivering regulatory advice’ in the guide’s regulation listings.

Mourant Ozannes Funds Partner, Hayden Isbister, said: “This kind of acknowledgement is particularly pleasing because it shows that our clients and peers recognise the strength of our leading funds lawyers, and their commitment to providing the outstanding levels of client service that our team is known for. This recognition is testament to our ability to attract and develop the best professionals in their field and we would like to thank those clients and peers who took the time to provide recommendations.”

Mourant Ozannes’ funds practice continues to lead the market advising on some of the largest and most complex transactions offshore. Recent clients include CVC Credit Partners, L Catterton Asia, Pacific Road Capital Management and Morgan Creek Capital Management, LLC.

The 13th edition of Who’s Who Legal: Private Funds 2018 listings are based on nominations from peers and clients within and outside their own jurisdictions. An extensive research process is undertaken and the individuals are selected by private practitioners and corporate counsel with a specific interest in the field.
