The Cayman Islands Government has gazetted the appointment boards of three authorities, the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA), the Information and Communications Technology Authority (ITCA) and the Water Authority (WA).

The ERA

Sherri Bodden-Cowan, Chair (existing member), Derrick Tibbetts (existing member), Dara Flowers-Burke (existing member), District Administrator Kenny Ryan (existing member), Anna Rose Washburn (new), Reginald Nixon (new) and Alee Fa’moe (new). Also on the board are Charles Farrington (ERA Managing Director), Alan Jones (Chief Officer or his designate at the Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure).

Out go Miguel Barcelo, Gene Dacosta , Gavin Dixon, Samuel Young and Michael Herland.

The ICTA

Dale Crighton, Chair (existing member), John Thompson (existing member), Ian Tibbetts (new), Gene Banks (new), Daniel Ebanks (new), Jean Gordon (new) and Chris Gourzong (new). Also on the board (non-voting members) are David Archbold (ICTA Managing Director), and a designate from the Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure.

Out go George Berry, Alexander Bodden, Lyndhurst Bodden, Joseph Jackman, Pearlina McGaw-Lumsden, Chris Narborough and Paul Tibbetts.

The WA

Lemuel Hurlston, Chair (existing member), Otto Watler (existing member), James Gill (new but a former board member), Christopher John Randall (new), Alfonso Wright (new), Tannya Mortimer (new) and Hansen Bingham Ebanks (new). Also on the board will be appointees by Kirk Tibbetts Minister for Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure, Kenneth Jefferson the Financial Secretary, Samuel Bulgin the Attorney General, and Gelia Frederick-van Genderen the Water Authority Director.
