Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge Grand Cayman

The Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge Grand Cayman leg is this Sunday, 29 May, starting at 6:30AM at the Government Administration Building.

Registration fee: $25 for adults 18 and over, and $10 for children 17 and under. Register online at racecaribbean.net and pick up your event packet at the Government Admin. Building on Thursday or Friday, 26-27 May, 9:00AM to 6:00PM. All registrations for the previous race date are still valid. Please note that online and in-person registration closes this Friday, 27 May at 6:00PM.

COVID-19 protocols will be observed for this event, and participants are asked to do an LFT test before leaving home on race day.

The race route is as follows: begins at the Government Admin. Building, continuing east along Elgin Ave, turn south on Huldah Drive, turn west onto Smith Road, turn south onto Walker’s Road, west onto Melmac Ave., north onto South Church St to Seafarers Way, east onto Fort St., south on Edward Street, and finally back onto Elgin Ave.

You can also support the DG’s 5K within your community. Just purchase your DG’s 5K 2022 shirt this Thursday or Friday, 26-27 May at the Government Admin. Building, do the walk/run anytime this weekend and share your photos on social media using #DGs5KChallenge.
