Daily update on garbage collection on Grand Cayman

The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) advises residents of Grand Cayman to anticipate delays in garbage pick-up in some George Town communities today (Wednesday, 13 June 2018).

Affected areas include Windsor Park, Banana Walk as well Edgewater Way (Grand Harbour) to Prospect Drive.

Garbage pick-up is scheduled to resume in these areas tomorrow (Thursday, 14 June 2018).

Previously uncollected areas such as Shadow Lane, Wahoo Lane, Brinkley Road, Casper Walk, Merrendale, Short Lane, Webb Road to inside Seymour Drive, Bramble Road to Andresen Drive, South Church Street, Walker’s Road and Denham Thompson Way will receive garbage pick-up today (Wednesday,13 June 2018).

Remaining communities will be collected today as scheduled.

The Department of Environmental Health apologises to residents in the affected areas and urges those residents who continue to experience non-collection of their garbage to make contact with our office by calling 949-6696 or by emailing us at [email protected]
