Crestline Hotels & Resorts Announces the Appointment of Sonia Egyhazy as Senior Director of Business Development

caymanianFAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 14, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — James Carroll, President & Chief Executive Officer of Crestline Hotels & Resorts, today announced the appointment of Sonia Egyhazy as Senior Director of Business Development. Ms. Egyhazy joins Crestline’s business development team as the company intensifies its expansion strategy seeking new opportunities to manage hotels and resorts both in the U.S. and throughout the Caribbean. Ms. Egyhazy will be an integral part of the development team led by Edward Hoganson, Executive Vice President of Finance & Business Development.

“With the announcement of two additional management contracts already this year, Crestline is on track to add four new hotels to its portfolio in the first quarter,” said Mr. Carroll. “We are using our strong balance sheet to make investments in hotel projects and to provide credit enhancements for hotel renovations and repositioning. We look forward to having Sonia’s expertise in hospitality feasibility and investment analysis on our team to help us identify co-investment opportunities, and to secure additional management contracts,” added Carroll.

Ms. Egyhazy joins Crestline from Concord Eastridge, Inc. where she was Director, Feasibility and Investment Analysis. During her tenure with Concord Eastridge she helped secure financing for  ground-up hotel development projects and other expansion opportunities. Ms. Egyhazy’s previous experience also includes the position of Manager, Feasibility and Investment Analysis for Hilton Worldwide, Inc. and Analyst, Development and Acquisitions for Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc.

Ms. Egyhazy holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, an ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate from Georgetown University, and an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University.
