Conyers Dill & Pearman has announced that it is co-sponsoring the American Bar Association Section of International Law’s upcoming seminar, The Pros and Cons of Offshore Centres.

Held on 16–17 of January 2014 at the Westin Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, the seminar explores the legitimate uses of today’s offshore financial centres, including the ease and speed of establishment of sophisticated institutional financial structures, tax incentives, comparative costs, infrastructure, asset protection, confidentiality and the effect of international regulation.

Attendees will include members of the financial services industry including asset allocators, investment managers, international banks, family offices, accountants, lawyers and administrators, particularly from the US, Latin America and Europe.

Conyers will open day two of the conference, with Nigel Meeson moderating the session entitled ‘The Aftermath of the Financial Crisis: Lessons Learnt by Cayman Hedge Funds’.
