Classical meets Modern in May

By Jessica Carson From PS Audio

With our newest artist release, Conversations by composer, Gustav Hoyer, Octave captures our first full album of chamber music and the magic of a modern composer with classical sensibilities. Gustav’s compositions are original and beautiful in their rich tapestries of sound. The recording is perfectly recorded in DSD by our very own Paul McGowan. I hope you enjoy the blend of piano, string quartet, flute and clarinet as much as I do!

Audiophile Masters VIII also features a blend of classical and modern performed by world-class musicians. We’re proud to showcase the beautiful Octave Studios’ Steinway grand on a number of tracks, each captured perfectly in pure DSD256. As a pianist, I certainly haven’t played a piano better than this one. The rich tones and clarity of each note are the perfect balance to my ear. These are great recordings that Paul and I had blast mixing. Everything was recorded so well, the tracks practically mixed themselves.
