Cayman: The first-ever online Prāṇāyāma Summit, organized by local yoga expert Mirabelle D’Cunha and endorsed by the Chopra Foundation, raises funds for Covid-19 relief in India

(George Town, Cayman Islands) June 21, 2021: Globally renowned teacher, trainer, and yoga expert Mirabelle “Sivajyoti” D’Cunha has proudly announced the launch of the first-ever online Prāṇāyāma Summit.  The historic summit, endorsed by the Chopra Foundation, an initiate of Deepak Chopra, features 21+ wisdom keepers for a free event created to fundraise for Covid Relief in India. ‘High on Breath, High on Life’ will take place from June 20th to June 26th, 2021.

Prāṇāyāma, an integral component of most yogic and meditation practice, effectively stills the mind. It also expands intelligence, improves memory, improves sleep and more. Evidence based research has shown the effects of these practices on immunity, showing a single session of practice increases the salivary immuno-proteins significantly, thus improving immunity. More than anything, in these times, such practices are necessary.

The path-breaking summit will host unique master teachers all in one place including bio-field scientists, lineaged teachers and speakers from India and the West. The speakers include Tracee Stanley, yoga teacher to Oprah, Dr. John Douillard, repeat guest on the Oz show, Patrick McKeown, best selling author of Oxygen Advantage, TedX Speakers, leading dental surgeon and lingadonist Dr. Yue Weng Cheu, Covid  salivary immune-biomarker scientist Dr. Sundar Balasubramanian and more.

The depth of Prāṇāyāma that no one is talking about will be unveiled, wisdom that cannot be found in books or even yoga teacher training.

This summit will benefit people looking to improve sleep, mental health, performance at work, sports and fitness, physical therapists, yoga teachers of all levels and all individuals eager to discover and experience more vitality and freedom through yoga beyond the physical, or perhaps are looking to connect with authentic practices of yoga unadulterated by whitewashing, capitalism and hierarchy.

Topics include, but are not limited to prana and biofield science;  prana science and its coding in saliva;  hanuman vayu and prana; pranayama as devi sadhana;  mantra and veda chanting as pranayama; breath, prana and racial trauma and biomechanics of breathing and lingaudontics to facilitate prana absorption in the sinuses.

The Chopra Foundation shares “We are so excited to share the Pranayama Summit! There has NEVER before been a space where so many prāṇāyāma wisdom keepers and cutting edge scientists steeped in lineage and practice have come together.”

“I am so honoured to have the Chopra Foundation step behind this initiative and share with their vast network bringing thousands to enjoy this summit.  We have people from over 75 counties. It’s wonderful being able to sit here in Cayman and empower and impact the lives of so many,” said D’Cunha.

She added “with a population of more than 1.3 Billion people, India has suffered more than any other country in the world at the hands of this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and this fundraiser summit will support goonj, a not-for profit in India that provides food and relief work to the marginalized communities in India, lepers, sex workers and more.”

D’Cunha is also the founder of Sadhana Club, an international bi-monthly live online yoga learning and mentoring program and part of the faculty for Yoga Alliance the International Certifying board of Yoga teachers worldwide.
