CUC advises customers on Shedden Road between the junction with North Sound Road and the roundabout in front of The Mango Tree Restaurant that they will experience interruptions to their electrical service on Sunday, May 28, 2023 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Affected customers include those located on the section of Shedden Road from L&T Tyre Sales and Repair to and including The Mango Tree Restaurant and all of Printer Way and Archive Lane. Businesses affected include L&T Tyre Sales, the Cotton Club Plaza, Go Cayman Car Rental, Eucalyptus Building, Bodden Place, The Woodwork Shop, Hydes & Son, the CI National Archives, Saint Alban’s Anglican Church, The Mattress Experts, Automotive Art and Reflections.

Motorists are asked to drive with caution when driving on these roads as CUC will have a number of vehicles and personnel in the area and may be required to temporarily block one lane on sections of the roads.

CUC apologises for this interruption, which is necessary to facilitate the upgrading of lines and poles to provide access for telecommunication companies to offer high-speed fibre to customers in these areas and to provide our customers with safe, reliable and efficient power.
