Cayman: Road Closures for Swearing In of Parliament, 20-22 April

From RCIPS

Fort Street will be closed between Harbour Drive and Constitution Hall from 7:00PM this evening, Tuesday, 20 April, until 6:00AM Thursday, 22 April, in order to facilitate the swearing-in of the newly elected Members of Parliament.

Traffic travelling north along Edward Street will be diverted right onto Fort Street. Traffic travelling along North Church Street will be unable to turn onto Fort Street and must continue straight onto Harbour Drive.

Albert Panton Street will also be closed to vehicular traffic at Fort Street. However, local access will be available as persons seeking to enter the Court and other surrounding businesses will be able to enter and exit Albert Panton Street via Cardinall Avenue.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling in these areas, and to take alternate routes if possible, especially during peak traffic times on Wednesday.

The RCIPS thanks the public for their cooperation and apologises for any inconveniences caused.
