The Superyacht Events team is thrilled to announce that both Cayman Registry and Yachtsure24 (the superyacht branch of R&Q Marine Services), have confirmed themselves as partners of the 2013 Global Superyacht Forum (GSF).

In less than 10 weeks the event takes Amsterdam by storm, bringing together some of the most influential and respected superyacht industry representatives. The backing of industry stalwarts who partner GSF ensures a platform for some of the most ground-breaking and necessary discussion among those who live and breathe the trials and successes of the superyacht sector.

The Cayman Registry has long been affiliated with GSF. As a Category 1 Register, the Cayman Islands can register vessels of any size and type provided that they meet international standards. Previously known as The Cayman Islands Shipping Registry, its services include registration, survey and certification, crew compliance, vessel plan approval, vessel construction supervision and maritime consultancy. It recognises better than most that the objective of owning ships is to trade at a profit, and therefore, acknowledges a responsibility to create the overall conditions and to provide the services that prudent ship and yacht owners need to achieve this.

Yachtsure24 is an initiative from R&Q Marine Services offering superyachts technical support and accident and response services as part of the Insurance package for Yachtsure24 policy holders who own vessels above 24m in length. Insurance brokers and their clients can use this free helpline facility that will make available to them a team with specialist knowledge and expertise to deal with, and guide them through, technical and damage issues relating to the day-to-day operation of the insured yacht.
