Cayman: RCIPS Business Centre introduces changes to processing of applications, 23 March

From RCIPS

The RCIPS is advising the public that, beginning on Monday, 23 March, the RCIPS Business Centre, located in Windjammer Plaza, will be implementing the following changes to how it processes applications for non-essential services (services not related to documentation for emergency medical purposes):

·         Persons will only be able to submit applications for non-essential services online viawww.eservices.gov.ky. There will be NO in-person applications at the Business Centre.

·         The Business Centre will ONLY be open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:00AM to 2:00PM, for the collection of documents (both essential and non-essential).

·         The public is advised that there may be a longer turnaround time than usual for these documents.

·         Express applications for non-essential services will NOT be accepted until further notice.

·         Applications for new firearms licenses or firearms license renewals will NOT be accepted until further notice. The same applies to new security licenses and security license renewals.

·         Applications for essential services will continue to be processed as normal.

These changes are being implemented, in response to COVD-19, to enable the RCIPS to continue to provide essential services to the public, while at the same time enabling the necessary social distancing and sanitization levels currently required to ensure the safety of Business Centre staff and members of the public.
