The annual holiday event, Cayman National Parade of Lights, featuring a Christmas concert, boat parade, and spectacular fireworks display has been cancelled for 2020.

Set to take place on Saturday 5th December at Camana Bay, event organisers made the decision to cancel the event after ongoing uncertainty about mass gatherings due to the impact of COVID-19.

“While we are saddened to cancel one of Cayman’s most anticipated events, we felt this was the best way forward during such uncertain times,” said Brydie Phillips, Marketing & PR Manager at Hurley’s Media.

“As the new title sponsor of this hallmark event, in partnership with Hurley’s Media, we are disappointed we are not able to bring Cayman this treasured event, especially at a time when everyone could benefit from a heartwarming event, bringing families and friends together,” said Patrick Barnes, Marketing & Communications Manager at Cayman National.

Cayman National Parade of Lights in partnership with Hurley’s Media, plans to return to Camana Bay in 2021 for an even bigger festive celebration. For any questions relating to the cancellation of the 2020 event, please contact Brydie Phillips,[email protected]
