On June 3rd and June 17th, the Cayman National Choir and Orchestra audiences will be transported from The Westin to the West End, Broadway and beyond, in their summer concert featuring songs from the shows. ‘West End at The Westin’ features music from a range of musical theatre shows, including Les Misérables, West Side Story, Oliver, West Side Story, Miss Saigon, The Wizard of Oz, and Jekyll & Hyde, to name but a few.

CNCO will once again be joined by the Cayman Youth Choir, as well as some talented soloists. Jaedyn Hanna is a young rising star and CNCO are thrilled that she is able to join them for this concert. Her incredible voice, combined with maturity, grace and poise, have led to recent performances at the Butterfield Young Musician Final, the Cayman Arts Festival and Red Sky at Night. Nicole Bradford is the Choral Director at CIS and has a wealth of vocal and stage experience, having worked and performed previously in both New York City and Vermont. Nicole is normally found in the orchestra’s clarinet section, so CNCO are excited to welcome her to the front of the stage and introduce audiences to her beautiful voice and character. Arek Nicholson will also be re-joining CNCO as a guest tenor; he is well known across the island for his rich and versatile voice so will definitely be one of the show’s many highlights.

Furthermore, the Cayman National Orchestra be showcasing their brand new full percussion section. Thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous donor, the orchestra’s sound, for the first time, will be enriched by timpani, xylophone, vibraphone, gong and more! Jonathan Taylor, Musical Director, is excited about the upcoming program and “really looking forward to presenting such a wonderful selection of music to our audience through our formidable National Choir & Orchestra and superb soloists!”

Last season’s ‘Christmas Spectacular’ concert was a sell-out success, and these events are expected to have the same level of interest, so book your tickets now to avoid disappointment. Tickets are $28.99 for adults and $13 for students, and are available are: caymanaisles.com/etickets
