Cayman Minister denies drunk driving

Rolston Anglin, the Cayman Islands Minster for Education, has pleaded “Not Guilty” to three charges in connection with an incident that occurred near the Avalon condos on the West Bay Road in the early morning hours of 23rd May 2012.

Anglin’s car crashed off the road into a ditch and he was the driver. However he has declared his innocence to the charges of exceeding the drinking and driving limit, driving without due care and attention and driving while impaired.

Anglin was represented by attorney Steve McField and appeared before Magistrate Nova Hall yesterday (1). Anglin was bound over to appear in the Magistrates Court on Tuesday 13th November.
