Man Charged with Assault GBH, 13 July

A man, age 41 of George Town, has been formally charged with Assault GBH, along with Consumption of Ganja, and Refusal to Provide a Sample of Urine. The charges stem from an incident on Saturday, 27 June, where a man was assaulted by another man known to him, resulting in the victim being admitted to hospital for treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The victim remains in hospital in stable condition.

The 41-year-old man remains in custody and is appearing in court tomorrow, 14 July.

Woman Charged for George Town Burglary, 13 July

A woman, age 41 of George Town, has been formally charged with Burglary in relation to an incident reported on Tuesday, 26 May, where a business on North Church Street was broken into and items taken.

She appears in court today, 13 July.
