From RCIPS

Shortly before 11:40PM on Tuesday, 27 March, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a robbery outside the Wendy’s Savannah location. Two security officers were doing a collection of money from the location when they were approached in their vehicle by two armed men with their faces covered. The men demanded the security officers hand over the bag containing the money, and also took a black knapsack from one of the officers. The culprits then fled on foot along Astral Way, toward the Savannah United Church. No shots were fired in the incident and no one was injured.

The culprits are both described as being about 5’7” tall, of slim build and dark complexion. They wore black shirts and light-coloured pants with cloths covering their faces.
