UPDATE: Cayman Islands police request public assistance to locate man reported missing

As of this morning, Thursday, 24 January, Mr. Whitely’s whereabouts are still unknown.  Police enquiries now indicate that Mr. Whitely was last seen about two weeks ago in the vicinity of Dump Road in George Town.

Police continue to appeal to anyone who may have seen Mr. Whitely in the last two weeks or has any information about his whereabouts to please contact the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.

Yesterday, Tue 22 January, police received a report of a man who has been missing since late December, and are requesting public assistance in locating him.

Eral Keith Whitely, age 72 of George Town, was last seen sometime on or near Christmas Day, 25 December, 2018, in the vicinity of Brushy Avenue in George Town, which is located in the area off Godfrey Nixon Way. He has not been seen since.

He is described as being of slim build, dark complexion, about 5’ 10” in height and is bald. He typically wears baseball caps and glasses, with a white t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers. A picture of him is attached. There are indications that he may have been sleeping in abandoned vehicles in the area.

The Police are concerned for Mr. Whitely’s welfare and are conducting urgent enquiries in an effort to locate him.

Anyone with information on Mr. Whitely’s whereabouts, or who believes they may have seen him, is asked to contact theGeorge Town Police Station at 949-4222.
