Shortly after 1PM on Sunday, 5 November, a man was arrested in relation to an incident which occurred the previous day, where a rifle and several rounds of ammunition were stolen from the home of a licensed firearm owner in East End. The man, aged 23 of East End, was arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm and damage to property. The rifle and ammunition were also recovered shortly afterwards. He is currently in police custody.
