Cayman Islands interns get real world experience

tIMG_9778-1 (2)LIME the leading telecoms company in the Cayman Islands hosted five interns over the summer. The programme gives students a chance to work at the heart of the LIME Cayman business during their summer break to experience pace, diversity and culture.

“Working in a real world environment allows interns to experience what they’ve learned in school acquiring firsthand knowledge of the telecoms business” said Matthew Seales, HR Manager, LIME Cayman Islands.

The students joined various departments across LIME Cayman business including Finance, Customer Service, Marketing, Technology, Retail and Analytics. They were also given the opportunity and exposure to see how a regional Caribbean business operates.

“It’s a great opportunity for them to spend the summer working alongside leading professionals in the technology industry to learn and potentially start their career at a cutting-edge company” continued Matthew.

Selena Scott, one of the interns said “my time at LIME has been wonderful, I knew coming into a company like LIME would make me grow and expand my knowledge. I know that I want to work in marketing and working with the marketing team has confirmed it. I have been asked to stay on for three more months so I know I made a good impression and want to thank LIME for this amazing opportunity.”
