Yesterday, 17 January, a woman reported an indecent assault to police that occurred along Esterley Tibbetts Highway near the Willie Farrington Drive junction in West Bay just before 7AM that morning.  She reported that while out jogging, a man ran up behind her, grabbed her in her private area, and then ran off.  The man is described as approximately 5’6” or slightly taller in height, in his early 20s with medium brown complexion, and wearing all black.  The man was also wearing a mask.

Police are investigating the incident, and asking anyone with information to please contact the West Bay police station at 949-3999 or the Miami-based call centre of Crime Stoppers at 800-8477.  Police are also suggesting that women exercise with a second person whenever possible.
