Drug Arrest

On Friday the 19 June 2015 at approximately 7:00pm Uniform officers from George Town Police Station conducted a proactive operation, visited a residence on Shedden Road, George Town where a search warrant was executed. A quantity of vegetable matter resembling ganja and utensils used in the preparation of illegal drugs were recovered.

A 28 year- old male was arrested on suspicion of possession of vegetable matter resembling ganja with intent to supply and suspicion of consuming a controlled drug. The male was later bailed.
